Services
Depending on the type of website you need, I
may use many different tools. Though each tool is important, they are
not always needed for every project. I can provide every service that
is available to get the job done.
The Website Blue-Print
Before I start on any project, I first try to understand exactly the needs of my clients. Though it is usually not possible to know exactly what you need, by creating a plan the website is completed in the most efficient way.
Web Design
The design of the website is the thread that holds it together. This design is used as a template for each page. Depending on the budget of the client, I can either create a web design of my own or contract this work to a professional designer. Either way, I ensure that the project is unique and professional.
Flash Design & Development
Flash is not used for every website, but it can be a very effective tool when used right. Flash is sometimes thought to be slow-loading or too "flashy." Some flash web sites can actually load faster than an html web site and can look quite classy like many corporate web sites do.
Web Programming
From simple tracking to forms that send emails, web programming can be used to interact with the website's visitors. Many times a database is involved, but there are some occasions where a simple form and script can do the job.
Database Programming
Databases can be used to keep track of visitors, buyers or anything else that you may need. A database is a simple table of data that can be updated by you or the web site's visitors. This data can be protected by passwords and can be updated by you anytime you like through an administration page.
Page Creation
The simple, but most important part of website creation is presenting the information in a neat and organized matter. Through simple HTML this information can be formatted to do so. After all, a great design and flashy animation may make a good looking website, but without a purpose it means nothing.
Domain Registration
Once everything is complete, you will need a domain name. Choose a domain name that can be remembered and explains what you do. I would recommend sticking to a .com, but there are many different extensions that you can choose from.
